All candidates who chose the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, during the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have received notification to that effect from JAMB are requested to take note of the following: –

Eligibility/Application Process

1. Only candidates who have chosen RSU as their first choice university will be invited to participate in the screening process for admission
2. Only candidates who scored 190 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to apply for the screening exercise in all the Faculties of the University.
3. Candidates must possess the essential five (5) O’-level credit passes by the University’s Entry Requirements (Faculty /Departmental) as published in the Jamb Brochure. Candidates are required to submit their O&L results. Applicants who are awaiting their O Level results shall be allowed to apply, but must indicate that they have done so.
4. Candidates shall be required to register on rsu.edu.ng using Inter-switch Verve enabled cards for payment in order to participate in the screening exercise online. Candidates are encouraged to use the online chat support for further information and use the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC), Rivers State University, for RELIABLE registration and BIOMETRIC verification.
5. Applicants should ensure that when they apply for the Post-UTME Screening Test, their correct information is entered.
6. Candidates should note that the type of screening exercise must be used The use of computers, in particular mouse and keyboard, is necessary for candidates to practice.
7. Candidates are expected to note that the test will be carried out in the Information Communication and Technology Centre at the University of ICTC, so they should adhere to the time and date indicated on the screening test slip as no candidate shall be allowed after the scheduled dates.
8. The registration for the screening exercise will commence on Monday, 29th July, 2024 and end on 7th September 2024.

SCHEDULE FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

The Printing of screening exam slip begins 10th September, 2024. Candidates will know their date after printing their slips. Candidates are advised to get the official RSUST University Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers. Candidates are requested to note that the Screening Exercise will be as scheduled in the screening exercise slip they printed out after their Online registration. The planned date, time and place shall be indicated in the test slip. No consideration will be given to candidates who do not pass the screening test on scheduled dates and times. The examination dates set out on the test sheet, which are printed in the online registration form, shall be adhered to by all candidates taking part in the screening procedure.
