The Liberty Career Academy is happy to announce the launch of the LCA Scholarship Program. This program was created to help students reach their academic and career goals by giving financial support to those who show hard work, talent, and dedication to their studies.

Scholarship Categories

The 2025 LCA Scholarship is divided into three main categories:

Merit-Based Award
Adeola Okungbaye Award
Gifted Hands Award

Benefits

Each category comes with a unique reward:

Adeola Okungbaye Award: ₦200,000 for selected indigent students.
Merit-Based Award: ₦150,000 for outstanding academic achievers.
Gifted Hands Award: ₦100,000 for talented and creative individuals.

General Eligibility

To qualify for the LCA Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following:

Provide verifiable proof of all academic and personal information submitted.
Present WASSCE and JAMB results (current students must include their most recent CGPA).
Be a Nigerian citizen or a legal resident from another African country studying in Nigeria.
Have a valid government-issued ID (or use a family member’s ID with proof of relationship).
Submit a 500-word Personal Statement written by you. AI-generated statements will be disqualified.

Category-Specific Eligibility

1. Adeola Okungbaye Award

Must demonstrate financial need.
Be an orphan or from a single-parent family.
Enrolled or newly admitted into an accredited Nigerian tertiary institution (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, or Technical College).
Minimum 3.5/5.0 CGPA or 220/400 JAMB score.
Meet all general eligibility criteria.

2. Merit-Based Award

Must be enrolled or admitted into an accredited Nigerian tertiary institution.
Have a 3.7/5.0 CGPA or 240/400 JAMB score.
Show leadership potential and extra-curricular involvement.
Meet all general eligibility criteria.

3. Gifted Hands Award

Applicants must be 18–25 years old.
Enrolled or admitted into a recognized vocational or technical institution in Nigeria.
Must be currently unemployed.
Show leadership qualities.
Meet all general eligibility criteria.
