Qualified candidates are requested to apply for the position of Registrar at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Duties
The Registrar will serve as the University’s Chief Administrative Officer and will report to the Vice-Chancellor for daily administrative tasks, excluding financial matters. Additionally, the Registrar will act as the Secretary to the Governing Council, the Senate, the Congregation, and the Convocation of the University. Any additional duties will be assigned by the Vice-Chancellor or the Governing Council.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a recognized University degree and be proficient in using computers. Possession of further qualifications is advantageous, and candidates should be in good health with a pleasant disposition. The ideal candidate must demonstrate sound judgment, dependability, and unassailable integrity.
Experience
Candidates applying for the Registrar position should have a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification relevant experience in a university, with at least three (3) years in a Deputy Registrar role, and should possess adequate leadership experience.
Salaries And Other Conditions
The salaries and benefits will be in line with what Registrars in federal universities receive.
