UNN announces admission into our Community Development Service Education (CDSE) Program

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has announced the commencement of admission into its Community Development Service Education (CDSE) Program for the 2025 academic session. This program is designed to equip students who could not be enrolled due to one reason or the other, with the knowledge and skills needed to drive sustainable development and community empowerment. in University of Nigeria Nsukka. It is a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years academic and apprenticeship program that allows successful candidates to work with the qualification earned, register with various professional bodies, gain admission into 200 level or second year in any University of their choices to continue their studies.

About the CDSE Program

The CDSE program is a multidisciplinary initiative aimed at fostering active citizenship, social responsibility, and sustainable development. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical community engagement, preparing students to address real-world challenges.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the CDSE program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Possess a minimum of five (5) credits in their O’Level results, including English Language and Mathematics.
  2. Obtain a satisfactory score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  3. Applicants should pick up their admission letters at ZEANI CDSE Office at African Development Fund (ADF) building, Faculty of Vocational & Technical Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka.
  4. Candidates should come with their Jamb printout.
