NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025 For Undergraduates

​The NNPC/OANDO Joint Venture (JV) Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for 2025 is a prestigious initiative aimed at supporting Nigerian undergraduate students in their pursuit of academic excellence. Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the NNPC/OANDO JV Tertiary Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Nationality: Must be a Nigerian citizen.​
  2. Academic Level: Registered as a full-time undergraduate student in a Nigerian tertiary institution.​
  3. Academic Standing: Must be in the 100-level (first year) at the time of application.
  4. Course of Study: For the National Merit Award, applicants must be studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Sciences.
  5. Host Communities Merit Award: Only indigenes of OANDO host or transit communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States are eligible to apply for this category.​
  6. Exclusions: The following categories are NOT eligible to apply:​
    • 200-level students and above.
    • Current beneficiaries of similar awards from other companies or agencies.
    • Dependents of OANDO personnel.​

Application Process:

Interested and eligible candidates should follow these steps to apply:

  1. Online Registration: Visit the official scholarship application portal during the application period.​
  2. Account Creation: Click on “Register Now” to create an account by providing a valid email address and setting a password.
  3. Profile Completion: Log in with your credentials and complete the online application form with accurate personal and academic information.​
  4. Document Upload: Prepare and upload clear scanned copies of the following documents:​
    • Recent passport-sized photograph.​
    • University admission letter.​
    • O’Level result(s).​
    • JAMB result slip.​
    • University student identity card.​
    • Letter of identification from the local government of origin.​
    • Letter of identification from the Dean of Faculty or Head of Department.​
    • Statement of result for the first semester of 100-level studies.​
  5. Submission: Review all information and documents for accuracy before submitting the application.​

Selection Process:

  • Aptitude Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an aptitude test at designated centers. Details regarding the test will be communicated to successful applicants.​
  • Transportation: Applicants are responsible for their transportation costs to and from the test centers.​
  • Notification: Only candidates who achieve an overall score of 50% or higher in the aptitude test will be considered for the scholarship.​
  • Publication: Results of the aptitude test will be published on notice boards in all NNPC/OANDO JV locations.​

Scholarship Benefits:

Successful applicants will receive an annual grant of ₦200,000, which will be disbursed until the completion of their undergraduate program, provided they maintain satisfactory academic performance.​
