Delta State Maritime Polytechnic (DESOMATECH) Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 ND Admission

The Delta State Maritime Polytechnic (DESOMATECH), Burutu, has officially commenced the sale of Post UTME forms for admission into its National Diploma (ND) programs for the 2025/2026 academic session. Prospective candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply for various maritime and technical courses offered by the institution

Admission Requirements

General Requirements:

  • Candidates must have sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score as specified by the institution.
  • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Specific Subject Requirements:

  • Science Programmes: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and one from Biology, Geography, or Technical Drawing.
  • Environmental/Planning Programmes: English Language, Mathematics, and a combination from Geography, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, or Art, depending on the specific course.
  • Business and Maritime Transport: English Language, Mathematics, and any three from Government, Economics, Civic Education, Commerce, Accounting, etc.

Note: Ensure that your UTME subject combination aligns with the program you intend to apply for.

Application Procedure

  1. Visit the Application Portal: Go to www.dsmt.edu.ng/admissionform.
  2. Create an Account: Click on “Apply Now” and provide the required information to create an account.
  3. Fill the Application Form: Log in to your account, complete the application form with accurate details.
  4. Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 through the online payment platform provided on the portal.
  5. Submission: After payment, submit the application form online.
  6. Print Acknowledgment Slip: Print two copies of the acknowledgment slip for future reference.(

Important: All payments should be made through the school’s official portal. Avoid making payments through unauthorized channels to prevent fraud.

Aptitude Test Information

  • Test Date: The specific date for the aptitude test will be communicated to applicants in due course.

    • Kwale Campus (Utagba-Ogbe Technical College)
    • Gbaregolor Campus

Note: Candidates are required to bring along their printed acknowledgment slips on the day of the aptitude test.
