Admission Requirements

General Requirements

Program-Specific Requirements

Master’s Degree Programs:

  • Minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field.
  • Candidates with Third Class or HND (Upper Credit) must possess a PGD with at least a 3.50 CGPA on a 5-point scale.
  • Duration: Typically two academic sessions for full-time students.

Master of Business Administration (MBA):

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower Division.
  • Applicants with Third Class or HND must have a PGD and a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACA, ACIB).

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.):

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant fields.
  • Minimum CGPA of 4.00 on a 5-point scale for direct Ph.D. entry.
  • Candidates with CGPA between 3.50–3.99 may be considered for the M.Phil./Ph.D. program.
  • Duration: At least three academic sessions for full-time students.

Application Process

    • Visit the Covenant University Postgraduate Admission Portal.
    • Provide your first name, last name, valid email, phone number, and create a password.
    • Select your entry mode (National or International).
    • If you are an alumnus, input your matriculation number.
  2. Complete the Application Form:

    • Upload required documents in PDF format, and a passport photograph in JPEG format (not exceeding 100KB).
  3. Pay the Application Fee:
