The Hodgson Law School at the University of Liverpool is inviting students to apply for its fully funded 2026/27 law scholarship in the UK. This scholarship is meant for bright international students who want to study law at the postgraduate level.
The scholarship exists thanks to Elizabeth Hodgson, the widow of Liverpool solicitor Joseph Hodgson, who wanted to support the education of future lawyers who may one day help the Merseyside community.
Benefits
- Full tuition fees for a full-time LLM programme
- A £10,550 stipend to support living expenses
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- Have finished (or be in your final year of) a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2:1 or its equivalent
- Have excellent English skills
You must also show:
- Strong academic performance
- Genuine interest in legal or public service that could help the Liverpool City Region
- Leadership potential and clear future ambition
- That you cannot fund a postgraduate degree on your own
