Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has started selling its supplementary admission form for the 2025/2026 session. This is for UTME candidates who already did the PUTME registration but now want to try another department.
The supplementary application will close by 3 pm on Friday, 5 December 2025. UNIZIK also made it clear that only candidates who have not been offered admission by any department are allowed to apply.
How UNIZIK’s supplementary process works
The advert is open to students who want to switch to any of the listed courses. UNIZIK also explained that changing departments inside the school (intra-transfer) is only allowed after spending two years in a program. Candidates taking part should note:
- Keep checking the transfer approval panel on JAMB CAPS. Once a proposed course shows, accept it quickly.
- Make sure your O’level results are correctly uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
- The supplementary list covers many courses in education, arts, sciences, engineering, social sciences, management, health sciences, and more.

Steps to use the UNIZIK shopping portal
The portal only works during the approved time and follows some rules to control traffic. Before applying, note the following:
- Go to the online page for supplementary admission.
- If you already have an admission offer, you will not be able to apply.
- A queue system is used. Only the first 1,000 users can enter the portal at a time, while others wait.
- Each person has 5 minutes to finish the process before being logged out.
- A timer will show how much time you have left. Those waiting can see their queue number.
- You can select up to three courses, but only one can be a professional course.
These rules help make the process smooth and fair for everyone.
