The Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, has announced the start of admission into its Sandwich Degree Program for the 2026/2027 academic contact session. The information was released by the Office of the Registrar. The Sandwich Program is designed for candidates who want to earn professional education degrees while studying during contact sessions.

Successful candidates will be awarded any of the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed.)
- Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LIS)
- Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed.)

Entry Requirements
TSU provides two admission entry levels for the Sandwich Program:
200 Level Admission
Candidates applying for 200 Level must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of NCE, Diploma, or JAMB qualification with an overall merit pass or above
- At least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics
- Completion of a JAMB Direct Entry application
- NCE or Diploma holders will spend four academic years in the programme
100 Level Admission
Candidates applying for 100 Level must:
- Have five credit passes at GCE, WASC, or SSCE level, including English Language and Mathematics
- Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings
- Meet the approved UTME cut-off mark
Application Fee
- The application form costs Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000) only.
- Payment must be made online through the university application portal: www.staniversity.edu.np/home/portal/application/register.php
- After payment, applicants are required to present evidence of payment at the Sandwich Office, located at the Taraba State University Main Campus.
Application Timeline
The sale of application forms begins on January 8, 2026, and will close on April 30, 2026.
