The management of Taraba State University (TASU or TSU) in Jalingo has announced the 2025/2026 admission list through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check Your Admission Status
To see if you got admitted:
- Go to the JAMB e-facility portal and log in with your information.
- Click on Check Admission Status.
- Choose your exam year, enter your JAMB registration number, and open your CAPS portal.
- Look under Admission Status for a message like, “Congratulations, you have been offered admission.”
- If you are offered admission, accept it on the JAMB CAPS portal to secure your place.
- After accepting, print your JAMB admission letter and check for any more instructions from TASU.
Important Notes
- The admission list comes out in batches (first batch, second batch, supplementary), and more lists will be released later.
- Some candidates may see “Admission in Progress,” which means their applications are still being processed, but it should change to full admission soon.
- If you haven’t received an admission offer yet, keep checking both JAMB CAPS and the TASU website for new information.
Tips for Newly Admitted Candidates
- Make sure to accept your admission on the JAMB CAPS portal on time to keep your offer.
- Upload or verify your O’Level results on JAMB if you haven’t done that yet.
- Look out for messages from TASU on their website or in your email about registration, screening, clearance, and school fees payment.
- Check that your details (name, contact info, documents) are correct and current.
- Be careful of scams claiming to offer unofficial admission always verify through official sources.
