KASU Reopens Portal for 2024/2025 Special Re-sit Registration

Kaduna State University (KASU) has shared a new update about the 2024/2025 Special Re-sit Examination for final year and spillover students. The school explained that the registration portal has been opened again for undergraduate students who have not yet registered. However, the university also made it clear that the requirements have not changed and the deadline will not be extended.

Registration Portal Opened Again

The management of Kaduna State University announced that the portal for the 2024/2025 Special Re-sit Examination has been reopened.

This opportunity is meant for eligible undergraduate students who did not complete their registration earlier. Students who fall into this category are advised to register within the given time because the university said no extra time will be given after the deadline.

Students Who can Take the special Re-sit Exam

According to the university, the Special Resit Examination is only for:

  • Final year students
  • Spillover students with not more than six outstanding courses

The notice also includes some conditions:

  • Courses that involve practical work, fieldwork, or projects are not included.
  • A student must have taken the course at least once before.

New Schedule for the Re-sit Exercise

The university also released updated dates for the registration, revision period, and examination.

Registration period
Registration is open again from 7 April to 10 April 2026.

Revision period
Students can revise their courses from 26 March to 16 April 2026.

Examination period
The Special Re-sit Examination will take place from 17 April to 24 April 2026.

Final Date for Registration

All eligible students must finish their registration before Friday, 10 April 2026.

The university clearly stated that there will be no further extension after this date.

Where to complete the registration

Students who are eligible can finish their registration through the KASU Special Resit registration portal provided by Kaduna State University.
