Aminu Saleh College of Education (ASCOEA) NCE & Degree Admission Form, 2025/2026

Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare—renamed from the former College of Education, Azare—is now accepting applications for its NCE (100 level) and Degree (100 & DE 200 level) programs for the 2025/2026 academic session. These programs are affiliated with the University of Maiduguri, offering pathways for both NCE and undergraduate candidates.

Admission Types, Cut-off Marks & Screening Schedule

NCE (100 Level)

  • UTME Cut-off: Minimum 100 points
  • O-Level Requirements: At least 3 credits, including English and/or Mathematics
  • Screening Dates:
    • Tuesday, 19 August 2025
    • Wednesday, 20 August 2025
  • Venue: Chris Abutu Garuba Hall
  • Time: 9:00 AM daily

Degree – 100 Level UTME

  • UTME Cut-off: Minimum 150 points
  • O-Level Requirements: 5 credits, including English and Mathematics
  • Screening Dates:
    • Thursday, 21 August 2025
    • Friday, 22 August 2025
  • Venue: Chris Abutu Garuba Hall
  • Time: 9:00 AM daily

Degree – DE (200 Level)

  • Direct Entry Requirements:
    • Minimum aggregate of 8 points in NCE/IJMB + Merit in Diploma
    • 5 O-Level credits, including English and Mathematics
Application Fee & Mode of Screening
  • Screening Fee: ₦2,000 – bring your payment receipt to the exercise
  • Screening Mode: Hybrid option—either physical or online via the college portal (ascoea.edu.ng)
Documents Required

All candidates (NCE & Degree) must present the following:

  1. Original O-Level Statement of Result, signed by the principal
  2. O-Level Scratch Card (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS)
  3. JAMB Result Slip or DE Registration Slip for 2025
  4. Original and photocopies of other credentials
  5. N2,000 payment receipt for screening
Step-by-Step Registration Guide
  1. Obtain the application form and pay ₦2,000 via the college portal.
  2. Ensure you uploaded O-Level results to JAMB CAPS (for UTME candidates) via an accredited CBT centre.
  3. Choose your screening mode:
    • Physical: Attend on scheduled dates at Chris Abutu Garuba Hall—bring required documents.
    • Online: Visit ascoea.edu.ng once the portal opens on Monday, 18 August 2025, and follow prompts for virtual screening.
  4. After screening, print any acknowledgement or receipt as proof.
