COOU ANSU Post-UTME/DE Form for the 2025/2026 Academic Session

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly known as Anambra State University (ANSU), has officially opened its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise. This applies to candidates who selected COOU as their first (or second, in some cases) choice in the 2025 UTME and those eligible via Direct Entry.

Key Dates & Fees
  • Registration opens: Monday, 11 August 2025
  • Closing date: Thursday, 18 September 2025
  • Screening fee: ₦2,000 (Remita, ATM/online, or bank payment)
  • Age requirement: Must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025
Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates:

  • Must have chosen COOU as their FIRST (or in some cases SECOND) choice in the 2025 UTME
  • Achieve the following UTME scores:
    • 200 or more for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences
    • 150 or more for all other courses

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

  • Must have COOU as their first-choice institution.
  • Holders of OND, HND, First Degree, or A’Level in relevant fields are eligible.
Step-by-Step Registration Guide
  1. Visit portal.coou.edu.ng → click “Prospective Students”.(
  2. Select “Generate 2025/2026 PUTME Invoice”.
  3. Enter your 2025 JAMB registration number → click Sign In to generate payment invoice.
  4. Pay ₦2,000 via Remita platform, using ATM or bank (Fidelity, Zenith, Eco Bank).
  5. Return to portal → re-enter JAMB number and click “Apply Here”.
  6. Complete required personal details, including date of birth.
  7. Upload documents (each <50 KB):
    • JAMB result slip
    • O’Level certificate(s) (one or two sittings)
  8. Upload O’Level results to JAMB CAPS via an accredited CBT center—not business centers.
  9. Review and confirm the information → check the confirmation box → Submit.
  10. Print your Acknowledgement Slip as proof of successful registration.
Post-Registration
  • Screening results will be communicated online via the portal once processed.
  • Regularly check the COOU website for follow-up admission notices and updates.
Final Notes & Tips
  • Ensure details match across JAMB, COOU portal, and uploaded documents.
  • Use clear scans under 50 KB for uploads.
  • Completing your bio-data and uploading to JAMB CAPS via accredited CBT centre is essential.
