Delta State University (DELSU) Online Certificate Collection Procedure for N.C.E, Diploma, and Degree Holders

The Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, wishes to inform all graduates of N.C.E, Diploma, and Degree programs that the process for collecting certificates has now been moved online. This new system covers the collection of both degree and diploma certificates through the DELSU Certificate Status Portal, making it easier and more convenient for graduates to track and receive their certificates.

Graduates are advised to carefully follow the steps below to process and collect their certificates:

  1. Visit the DELSU Certificate Status Portal – This is the official platform for all certificate-related processes.
  2. Select your graduation year and click “CHECK YEAR”.
  3. Enter your surname and matriculation number, then click “VERIFY SURNAME/MATRICULATION NUMBER”.
  4. If multiple records appear, ensure you select the correct record corresponding to your details.
  5. The portal will then redirect you to the appropriate page based on your certificate status:
    • Attestation Page: If payment has not yet been made.
    • Certification Status: If payment has been made and your certificate is currently being processed.
    • Certification Details: If your certificate has already been issued.

DELSU also provides courier and shipping services for certificate delivery. Graduates should note that collection by proxy will not be honoured, so it is important to follow the proper online process.

For assistance at any stage, graduates can click the “Support” button on the homepage of the portal.

Graduates are strongly encouraged to share this information with fellow graduates to ensure that everyone is aware and able to complete the certificate collection process without any issues.
