Elizade University, located in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) program for the 2025/2026 academic session. This program offers an opportunity for students to gain direct entry into 200 level in Elizade University and other JUPEB-affiliated institutions across Nigeria.
What is the JUPEB Programme?
The JUPEB program is a one-year intensive academic program designed to prepare students for direct entry admission into the second year of their chosen undergraduate courses. It serves as an alternative pathway for students who:
- Have just completed their O’Level examinations.
- Did not meet the required JAMB cut-off marks.
- Are seeking to avoid the challenges associated with the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Upon successful completion of the program, candidates are eligible for direct entry admission into 200 level of their desired course at Elizade University or any other JUPEB-affiliated university in Nigeria.
Admission Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings in WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
- Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply, provided the results will be available before the completion of the JUPEB program.

- Faculty of Engineering and Environmental Sciences: Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management.
- Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences: Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Management and Technology, Applied Geophysics, Computer Science, Physics with Electronics, Cybersecurity.
- Faculty of Humanities, Social, and Management Sciences: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Economics, Mass Communication, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Sociology, Political Science, International Relations, English Language, Performing and Film Arts.
- Faculty of Allied Health Sciences: Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology.

- Upload Required Documents: Applicants are required to upload the following documents:
- Recent passport photograph.
- O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB).
- Birth certificate or declaration of age.
- Local government identification letter.
- Pay the Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of ₦10,500 is to be paid online through the portal.
- Submit the Application: After completing the form and payment, submit the application and print the acknowledgment slip for reference.
