Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the HND programs, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. National Diploma (ND) Certificate: Possess an ND or National Innovative Diploma (NID) in the relevant program with at least a Lower Credit from an accredited institution.
  2. O’Level Requirements: Have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings from SSCE, GCE O’Level, NTC/NBC (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) examinations.
  3. Industrial Training (IT) Experience:
    • Candidates with Lower Credit must have completed a minimum of one-year post-ND Industrial Training.
    • Candidates with a Pass grade must have completed two years of Industrial Training.
  4. Transcript Submission: Applicants who did not obtain their ND from FPO are required to forward a copy of their ND transcript to the Office of the Registrar within eight (8) weeks from the date of this advertisement.
  5. Personal Details:
    • All candidates must write their names in full, with the surname first, as it appears on their certificates and National Identification Number (NIN).
    • All candidates must have a personal active email address.

Note: Any false or incorrect data entry will lead to automatic disqualification of the candidate at any time it is discovered.

Duration of Program

The HND Full-Time programs are structured to run for two academic sessions, comprising four semesters.

  1. Visit the Official Portal: Log on to the Polytechnic’s portal at https://www.fedpoffaonline.edu.ng.
  2. Application Fee: Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000 only.
  3. Complete the Application Form: Fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic details.
  4. Upload Required Documents:
    • O’Level results
    • ND/NID certificate
    • IT completion letter
    • Passport photograph
  5. Submit and Print: Submit the completed application form and print out the Application Acknowledgment Slip for reference.
