OOU Post-UTME/DE Form for 2024/2025 Academic Session

 

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has commenced the sale of Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2024/2025 academic session. This guide provides essential details on eligibility, the application process, and important deadlines for prospective students.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the OOU Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Post-UTME Eligibility:
– Candidates must have chosen OOU as their first choice in the 2024 UTME and obtained a minimum score of 160 in the examination.
– Applicants must have at least five (5) credits in their O’ Level results, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings. These credits should be from recognized examination bodies such as WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

2. Direct Entry Eligibility:
– Candidates applying via Direct Entry must have a minimum of an Upper Credit in their National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant disciplines.
– Applicants with a degree from a recognized institution in relevant fields are also eligible.

3. Age Requirement:
– All candidates must be at least **16 years old** by the time of admission.

 Application Process

Interested candidates should follow these steps to apply for the OOU Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening:

1. Visit the OOU Admission Portal:
– Go to the official OOU admission portal to start your application.

2. Create an Account:
– Provide your valid email address, phone number, and UTME registration number (for Post-UTME candidates) to create an account.

3. Complete the Online Application Form:
– Fill in your personal and academic details accurately on the application form. Direct Entry candidates will need to enter information about their qualifications.

4. Upload Required Documents:
– Upload scanned copies of your O’ Level results, UTME result slip (for Post-UTME candidates), or relevant certificates (for Direct Entry candidates). A recent passport photograph is also required.

5. Payment of Screening Fee:
– Pay the non-refundable screening fee through the payment platform provided on the portal. Ensure that you keep a copy of the payment receipt for your records.

6. Submit Application:
– After completing the application form and making the payment, submit your application online. Print the acknowledgment slip as proof of application, which will be required for the screening exercise.

 Screening Schedule

Candidates will be notified of the screening date, time, and venue through the email address provided during registration or via the OOU portal. The screening exercise may be conducted physically or online, depending on the program and department.

  • Tuesday, 3rd September, 2024
  • Wednesday, 4th September, 2024
  •  Thursday, 5th September, 2024
