UNICAL Changes 2024 Screening Exercise From Aptitude Test To O’ level Grading System

The University of Calabar wishes to inform the general public that the 2024/2025 Post-UTME screening exercise, which was initially set to commence on Monday, August 26, 2024, has been postponed.

After carefully considering the high cost of transportation due to fuel scarcity, accommodation challenges, logistics issues, and the current security situation in the country, the University management has made the decision to cancel the Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Attention to all prospective students! If the University of Calabar is your first choice, and you have completed your online registration for the upcoming 2024 Post-UTME screening, it’s important that you make a trip to the nearest JAMB-CBT center to upload your O’ level results. Please note that the University will evaluate all candidates based on their O’ level grades, using the point tally system for the 2024/2025 admissions process.

As a result, the University is granting a one-week extension for Post-UTME registration on its portal. If you haven’t completed your registration yet, take advantage of this extended timeframe and ensure that you complete the process no later than Saturday, August 31, 2024. This is a crucial step in being considered for admission in the upcoming academic year.

Please note that there will be no further extension of date for registration after this deadline as the portal would be closed finally on the 31st August, 2024.

We regret any inconvenience this change in arrangement may have caused our dear applicants.
