As part of the University’s efforts to streamline processes and reduce avoidable burdens and stress on colleagues, the final year clearance has been automated. Recall that the Senate considered and approved the grades of graduates in its 301st session. As a result, the mobilization process to NYSC is underway and final approval of result declaration/certificate collection in preparation for graduation ceremonies is expected to begin. However, we would like to bring to your attention some important information regarding the automatic approval.

Step-by-step Instructions to Process Students Clearance
- Log in as a student: Enter your login details (admission number and password) to access the student portal.
- Go to the Share section: Find and click on the Share tab in the navigation bar.
- Upload your alumni receipt: Follow the instructions in the interface to upload your alumni receipt. Note that you have paid your alumni dues and you need a PDF copy of the receipt.
- View the clearance officer’s actions: Once you upload the receipt, you will see a list of officers responsible for the clearance and the status will be displayed as “Pending”.
- Release status: The status will change to “Released” as each officer is processing the release.
- Clearance Complete: Once clearance is complete by all designated personnel, print your clearance certificate.
