The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Remedial (Pre-degree) Science Program for the 2025/2026 academic session. This program is designed to prepare candidates for admission into science-based undergraduate programs at the university.
📘 Program Overview
The Remedial Science Program is a one-year, two-semester intensive course aimed at equipping students with foundational knowledge in core science subjects. Upon successful completion, candidates will be eligible to apply for admission into various science-related undergraduate programs at UNIABUJA.
✅ Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the Remedial Science Program, candidates must:
- Have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, and English Language in NECO/SSCE, GCE O’Level, or NABTEB examinations.
- Obtain at least three (3) credits in the aforementioned subjects.
- Note: Candidates with awaiting results are not eligible to apply
📅 Program Duration
The programme runs for one academic session. During this period, students will undergo intensive lectures and practical sessions in the core science subjects. At the end of each semester, examinations will be conducted to assess students’ understanding and readiness for undergraduate studies.

- Click on the application access link
- Select Remedial using this direct link to remedial application
- Fill in these details:
- Surname
- First Name
- Other Names
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Click Next
- Click Generate RRR on the payment preview page
- Click Make Payment and go to Remita
- Pay with MasterCard or Visa Card
- After payment, you will be redirected to the portal
- Your application number will be shown and also sent to your phone by SMS
- You will be logged out
- Go to Main Login
- Use your application number and surname to log in
- Complete the form and submit.
📌 Important Information
- Use an email that works and can receive messages.
- Use a phone number that can receive SMS.
- You must check both often to get updates about your form.
- Do not share your login or RRR with others.
Application Closing Date
The last day to apply is Wednesday, 30 April 2025.
No late submission will be accepted after the date.
