Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Programs:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Postgraduate Diploma Programs:
- A first degree from a recognized institution.
- HND holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
Master’s Degree Programs:
- A good first degree in a related field from a recognized university.
- Candidates may be required to pass a qualifying examination.
Sub-Degree Diploma Programs:
- At least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Application Procedure
- Online Registration:
- Visit the UNILORIN website and navigate to the Institute of Education portal.
- Complete the online application form for your desired programme.
- JAMB Registration (For Undergraduate Applicants):
- Register online with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) through the JAMB Facility portal. Note that this registration does not require sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Payment of Application Fees:
- Postgraduate Studies and Postgraduate Diplomas: ₦25,000.00
- Undergraduate and Sub-Degree Diplomas: ₦10,000.00
- Payments should be made online using an ATM (MasterCard or Visa Card). Cash payments are not accepted.
Important Dates
- Application Period: February 10, 2025, to March 24, 2025.
- Master’s Qualifying Examinations: Dates will be communicated via the provided email addresses and the University of Ilorin website.
