• €6,000 gross per academic year

🧑‍🎓 Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

1. Be non-Italian citizens. Dual citizens with Italian nationality are not eligible.
2. Reside outside Italy, or not be considered Italian residents for university application purposes.
3. Hold a non-Italian undergraduate degree qualifying for admission to an Italian Master’s program.
4. Apply for one or two of the eligible English-taught Master’s programs.
5. Have an excellent academic record, ideally with first-class or upper second-class honors (or international equivalent).
6. Possess strong motivation and clear academic goals, reflected in a self-made video and written statements.

Scholarships are limited to certain English-taught Master’s degree programs, grouped by academic area:

A. Economics and Law

• International Accounting and Management

B. Political, Social, and Cognitive Sciences

• Language and Mind: Linguistics and Cognitive Studies
• Public and Cultural Diplomacy
• European Studies (Scienze Internazionali)

C. Medical and Biomedical Sciences

• Biotechnologies of Human Reproduction
• Medical Biotechnologies

D. Mathematics and Experimental Sciences

• Applied Mathematics
• Artificial Intelligence and Automation Engineering
• Biodiversity, Conservation and Environmental Quality
• Chemistry
• Electronics and Communications Engineering
• Engineering Management
• Sustainable Industrial Pharmaceutical Biotechnology

Each area is allocated at least one scholarship. Area D receives two scholarships due to the breadth of programs.

3. Submit the scholarship application through the same portal. Choose the option for “Siena International Excellence Scholarships – 2025/2026”.
