Godfrey Okoye University, a private Catholic institution in Enugu, has opened its 2025/2026 undergraduate admission portal, offering admission through UTME and Direct Entry. Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates
  • O’Level: Minimum 5 credits including English & Mathematics
  • JAMB Score:
    • Medicine & Surgery: ≥ 200
    • Nursing: ≥ 180
    • Law: ≥ 200
    • Architecture & Computer Science: ≥ 160
    • Other programs: ≥ 150–160
Direct Entry Candidates
  • Must possess appropriate JAMB Direct Entry form (OND/NCE/HND/A’Levels) and meet departmental prerequisites.
  • JAMB institution code should be updated via Change of Institution if GOUNI was not originally selected.

Registration Process

  1. Visit the official GOUNI admission portal (ERP).
  2. Register with valid email and create a profile.
  3. Choose UTME or Direct Entry, fill in personal and academic information, including attachment of passport photo, O’Level results, and JAMB result slip or Direct Entry credentials.
  4. Submit the form (no fee).
  5. Receive email confirmation within 3 working days confirming submission status.
Screening & Admission
  • UTME Screening: Admission is finalized through the JAMB Admission Letter—a direct offer post-screening.
  • Direct Entry Screening: Reviewed based on academic qualifications and spare space in the program.
  • Post‑UTME: Some sources mention a screening test, especially for Law or Medicine, before payment of acceptance fees.
Cut‑Off Marks & Scoring
  • JAMB Cut-Off: Minimum score of 160 for general faculties; 200+ for Medicine, Nursing, Law; 160–180 for others.
  • Post‑UTME Cut-Off: Some indicate ≥ 50% on the university screening test (subject to confirmation after screening).
