LASU Post-UTME / DE Screening Form 2025/2026

The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who wish to gain admission into LASU must participate in this screening process as part of the university’s admission requirements.

The LASU Post-UTME/DE screening is a non-examination online screening for qualified candidates seeking admission into 100 Level (via UTME) or 200 Level (via Direct Entry) in any of the approved undergraduate programs offered by the university.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the LASU Post-UTME/DE screening, applicants must meet the following requirements:

For UTME Candidates:
  • Must have chosen LASU as their First Choice institution during the 2025 UTME registration.
  • Must have scored a minimum of 190 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
  • Must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
  • Must be at least 16 years old by October 1, 2025.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
  • Must have chosen LASU as First Choice in the 2025 Direct Entry application.
  • Must possess a National Diploma (ND), NCE, JUPEB, or equivalent qualifications with at least a Lower Credit or Merit.
  • Must also meet the O’Level requirements (as stated above).

LASU Screening Dates and Deadline

  • Online registration portal opens: Monday 30th June
  • Closing date: Saturday, 26th July, 2025

Candidates are strongly advised to register early and avoid last-minute rush.

How to Apply for LASU Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025

Follow the steps below to apply for the screening:

  1. Visit the LASU Post-UTME Portal
    https://services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening
  2. Login with JAMB Registration Number
    • Choose either UTME or DE application.
  3. Pay the Screening Fee
    • Fee: ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges)
    • Payment is made via online payment platforms (Remita or card).
  4. Complete the Application Form
    • Fill in personal information, O’Level subjects and grades.
    • DE candidates must upload their A’Level/NCE/ND results.
  5. Print the Screening Slip
    • After submission, print the screening confirmation slip for reference.

Important Notes

  • LASU does not conduct any written Post-UTME exam. Screening is based on O’Level results and JAMB scores.
  • Ensure all documents submitted are genuine and verifiable. Any falsification may lead to disqualification.
  • Only candidates who successfully complete the screening will be considered for admission.

Admission Considerations

LASU adopts a merit-based admission process which considers:

  • JAMB score
  • O’Level grades
  • Catchment area and educationally less developed states (ELDS)
  • LASU’s admission quota and cut-off marks for each course
