The AIMS Scholarship Program offers fully funded, world-class graduate education in mathematical sciences to talented students across Africa. It aims to develop problem solvers, innovators, and future leaders through immersive, high-impact training. No registration fees will be charged for candidates chosen for the Master’s program. The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences Scholarship fully covers tuition fees and provides additional bursaries to assist with accommodation and living expenses.
Who Can Apply (Eligibility)
- Citizens or residents of African countries.
- Hold, or expect to hold by the commencement of AIMS training, a 4-year bachelor’s degree (or 3-year degree plus honors) in mathematics, a science, engineering, or any discipline with a strong maths component.
- Demonstrate strong mathematical ability, leadership, and commitment to community development. Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Cannot have previously received an AIMS scholarship

- Create an Account: Register on the AIMS application portal
- You are to apply for either of Master’s in Mathematical Sciences or the Co-operative Education Program.
- Complete the online form and upload your CV, transcripts, motivation letter, referee contacts etc.
- Endeavor to submit before the deadline.
