Diploma Programs and Requirements
1. Human Kinetics and Health Education
Applicants must have five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (SSCE/GCE/TCII/NABTEB or equivalent).
2. Arabic Education
- Must have five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, or
- A Higher Islamic Studies Certificate (HISC) with credits in at least five subjects, including Arabic.
- A Diploma in Teaching of Arabic or Islamic Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, is also accepted.
3. Photography, Instructional Radio and Television Production, and Creative Arts
- Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
Admission Requirements for Degree Programs
To apply for UNILORIN Part-Time Degree Programmes, you must have one of the following:
- NCE with at least Merit in two relevant teaching subjects.
- ‘A’ Level passes in GCE/JMB/NABTEB/JUPEB or equivalent.
- ND/OND with at least Lower Credit in selected courses such as Arabic, History, Christian Studies, Computer Science Education, Educational Technology, or Technology Education.
In addition, all applicants must have five (5) O’Level credits including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects.
- Applicants using ‘A’ Level results must have at least 7 points.
- ND/HND holders must have Lower Credit or above.
