According to an official notice from the Office of the Registrar, the university will begin its Christmas break on Saturday, 20 December 2025. These essential staff include drivers attached to principal officers, members of the university security unit, estate and works staff in charge of water and electricity supply, porters working in the halls of residence, and health workers at the Emergency Unit of the Health Services Department.

The notice further stated that while limited activities will resume on 3 January 2026, full academic and administrative work across the university will officially restart on Monday, 5 January 2026.

In closing, the Vice-Chancellor, through the Acting Registrar, sent warm greetings to all staff and students. The management wished everyone a peaceful and joyful Christmas celebration and prayed for a successful and prosperous New Year.
