Abia State College of Education (Technical) Begins Sale of 2025/2026 Admission Forms

The Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu, has opened its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. The college is now inviting applications from qualified candidates who wish to enroll in its Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programs across the various schools and departments.

The institution offers a wide range of courses. Under the School of General Education, available programs include Curriculum Studies/Educational Technology, Educational Foundations and Administration, and Psychology/Guidance and Counselling. The School of Science Education runs courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physical and Health Education, and Computer Science.

Programs are also available in the School of Vocational and Technical Education, covering Agricultural Science Education, Home Economics, Fine and Applied Arts, Business Education, and Technical Education. The School of Languages offers English and Igbo, while the School of Early Childhood Care and Primary Education provides programs in Early Childhood Care and Education as well as Primary Education.

In addition, the School of Arts and Social Sciences offers courses like Social Studies, Political Science, Economics, Christian Religious Studies, and Music. All the listed programs are available in both sandwich and part-time study modes.

To be eligible for admission, applicants must have at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates are also required to participate in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
