University of Benin (UNIBEN) Mandatory Online Registration for the 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of the university of Benin wishes to inform all students that online registration for the 2025/2026 academic session is now compulsory for every student. All students, both new and returning, are required to complete their registration through the official university portal within the specified period.

This directive is part of the institution’s efforts to ensure proper documentation of students’ academic records and to facilitate a smooth academic process for the session.

Accessing the University Portal

Students are advised to log in to the university portal using their valid login details in order to complete the required registration procedures. The online registration process includes updating personal details, confirming course registrations, and completing any other academic documentation required by the institution.

It is important that students carefully review all the information provided on the portal and ensure that their details and course selections are correctly entered before submitting their registration.

Upcoming First Semester Examination

Students should also take note that the First Semester Examination for the 2025/2026 academic session will commence in two weeks. In preparation for the examinations, all students are expected to ensure that their registration has been properly completed and approved.

Completing the online registration is an essential requirement for participation in academic activities, including examinations and other academic assessments.

Advice to Students

All students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this period to complete every aspect of the registration exercise without delay. Early completion will help prevent last-minute challenges such as portal congestion or incomplete documentation.

Students are therefore urged to treat this notice with seriousness and ensure that all registration requirements are fulfilled before the commencement of the first semester examinations.
