Bayero University Announces Deadline for Undergraduate Registration

The management of Bayero University has officially announced the closing date for all undergraduate registration activities. According to the notice, the registration portal will shut down on Friday, May 1, 2026, at exactly 12:00 a.m. (WAT).

All students are strongly encouraged to complete their course registration before the stated deadline. The University has made it clear that no complaints related to registration will be accepted once the portal is closed.

Important Instructions for Returning Students

Returning students who do not complete their registration within the approved period will be required to suspend their studies until the next academic session. This means they will not be allowed to continue with academic activities for the current session if they fail to register on time.

Students are therefore advised to take this notice seriously and avoid waiting until the last minute.

Role of Level Coordinators

The University has also made it compulsory for every student to contact their level coordinator before beginning the registration process. This is to receive proper guidance on the correct courses to register.

After completing the registration, students must again meet with their level coordinator for cross-checking and validation of the selected courses. This step is very important to avoid errors.

Any student who fails to consult their level coordinator will be held responsible for any mistakes made during registration. The University will not attend to complaints arising from such errors.

Time Remaining Before Closure

As of now, there are 67 days, 1 hour, 38 minutes, and 9 seconds left before the registration portal closes. Students are advised to use this time wisely and ensure they complete all necessary steps before the deadline
