  • Certificate Authenticity: Possession of original certificates from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Awaiting results are not accepted.
  • Professional Qualifications: Completion of a three-year Basic Midwifery or Psychiatric Nursing program and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Midwife or Registered Psychiatric Nurse. A valid practicing licence is required.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants should follow these steps:

  1. Payment of Application Fee:
    • Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,500 into the school’s designated bank account:
      • Bank: Uzondu Microfinance Bank
      • Account Name: College of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu
      • Account Number: 1100635153
    • Ensure that the payment is made in the candidate’s name. Payments can be made via bank deposit, mobile banking apps, or POS machines.
  2. Documentation:
    • Indicate the program being applied for (e.g., Post-Basic Nursing) on the payment slip.
    • Upload the bank teller or transaction receipt as proof of payment.
  3. Submission:
    • Visit the official CONSA application portal to complete the application process.
    • Bring the proof of payment to the examination hall on the day of the entrance examination.

Important Considerations

  • Result Combinations: Candidates can combine results from the same examination body (e.g., WAEC/WAEC or NECO/NECO). However, NABTEB results cannot be combined with WAEC or NECO results. If using NABTEB, all required credits must be obtained in a single sitting.
  • Examination Details: Applicants are advised to regularly check the official CONSA website or contact the admissions office for updates on examination dates and other pertinent information.

The Post-Basic Nursing program at the College of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu, offers registered midwives and psychiatric nurses an opportunity to advance their careers. Prospective students are encouraged to adhere strictly to the application guidelines and submit all required documents promptly to ensure a smooth admission process.
