North-Eastern University (NEU) Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admission Exercise

North-Eastern University (NEU), Gombe, has officially commenced the sale of Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) application forms for the 2025/2026 academic session  UTME and Direct Entry candidates can apply for courses across science, law, social sciences, and health.

Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates

Applicants must:

  • Have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or equivalent examinations.
  • Have sat for the 2025 UTME and obtained a score that meets the minimum cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
  • Provide a personal statement (essay) stating why they chose NEU and outlining their ambitions.
  • Submit recommendation letters or testimonials from their secondary school counselor or principal.
  • Present valid identification, such as an international passport, national ID card, or secondary school ID.

Direct Entry (DE) and Transfer Candidates

Applicants must:

  • Possess relevant qualifications such as IJMB, NCE, Diploma, JUPEB, First Degree, GCE ‘A’ Level, or equivalent.
  • Provide post-secondary transcripts and certificates.
  • Submit recommendation letters from post-secondary academic referees.
  • Provide a personal statement (essay) detailing their reasons for choosing NEU and their future aspirations.
  • Present valid identification, such as an international passport, national ID card, or driver’s license.

Interested candidates can apply through the following methods:

Online Application

  1. Visit the NEU admissions portal at https://neu.edu.ng/application/.
  2. Complete the online application form with accurate information.
  3. Upload all required documents, including academic transcripts, personal statement, recommendation letters, and valid identification.
  4. Submit the application and await further communication from the Admissions Office.

In-Person Application

  1. Visit the university campus located along the Gombe-Bauchi Expressway, Gombe State.
  2. Obtain and complete the physical application form.
  3. Attach all necessary documents and submit them to the Admissions Office.
