Osun State University (UNIOSUN) Releases Harmattan Examination Guidelines

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has announced the date for the Harmattan Semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session. The information was made known in a circular released by the Directorate of Academic Affairs and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Senate, Mrs. Atinuke A. Oguntunde.

Examination date

According to the notice, the Harmattan Semester examinations will begin on Monday, 23rd February, 2026. Students are expected to complete all academic and financial requirements before this date.

Payment and registration requirement

The university management explained that students must pay at least 50% of their tuition fees and complete their course registration before they will be allowed to participate in the examinations. Only students who meet these conditions will be considered eligible to sit for their papers.

Students who have not yet completed their payment or registration have been strongly advised to do so immediately to avoid being prevented from writing the examinations.

Verification for examination entry

UNIOSUN also stated that tutorial lists will be used to confirm students’ eligibility at the examination venues. This means that only properly registered and financially cleared students will be allowed into the examination halls.

Important reminder to students

  • The circular has been shared with students, staff, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, and has also been displayed on university notice boards to ensure that everyone is informed.
  • Students are encouraged to take this announcement seriously and complete all pending payments and registration steps on time to ensure they can participate in the examinations without any issues.
