University of Lagos (UNILAG) Extends Screening and Registration for New Students, 2025/2026

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has added two extra weeks to the 2025/2026 screening and registration for new undergraduate students. The exercise will now run from Monday, 1 December to Friday, 12 December 2025.

This extension gives newly admitted UTME and Direct Entry candidates more time to finish their checks and submit all required documents. The process is still organised by faculties, so each faculty will attend to its own fresh students on specific dates, times, and venues within the UNILAG campus. New students should follow the timetable shared by their faculty to avoid delays.

Only candidates who have not yet taken part in the screening need to come. Anyone who has already completed the process does not have to return.

Important documents to bring

Before coming to campus, new students should put together the following:

JAMB admission letter
UTME or Direct Entry result
O’level result printouts required by the school
Birth certificate or age declaration
Proof of payment for UNILAG-approved fees
Any other document listed in the official instructions

These documents help the school confirm each student’s admission and personal details.

Students who still need to do their screening should take advantage of the new dates. It is also wise to keep copies of every document submitted and follow any extra instructions from the department or faculty office.
