The Faculty for the Future initiative, run by the Schlumberger Foundation, provides substantial support for women from developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or postdoctoral studies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields at leading global institutions. The program’s overarching mission is to advance gender parity in scientific fields while empowering these women to become agents of change in their home countries.
Since its inception in 2004, the program has helped over 863 women from 90 countries to bridge the gap in STEM education and research through this platform.
