Eligibility & Supporting Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- O’Level credits in English and Mathematics (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
- A recognized first degree (even third-class) or HND with Lower Credit or equivalent, possibly with relevant experience
Master’s Degree (MSc, MA, etc.):
- O’Level credits in English and Mathematics.
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably Second Class (Lower) or CGPA ≥ 3.00.
- Third Class degree holders may be eligible with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
PhD:
- Master’s degree is typically required.
- Candidates with excellent academic records may benefit from direct or provisional admission.
- A research proposal is also expected.
Important Document Requirements:
- Application must be completed in block letters.
- Ensure your name exactly matches your academic records; if changes occurred, provide supporting documentation (affidavit, newspaper, marriage certificate).
- Submit three referees’ email addresses, ensuring at least one academic referee.
- The original academic transcript must be sent directly from your previous institution to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies.
- Include your WASC/GCE O’Level certificate, degree/HND certificate, NYSC discharge/exemption (if applicable), four passport photos, and any official name-change documents.
