The 2025 Julius Berger Scholarship Award for Nigerian Female Engineering Students

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc (JBN) continues its longstanding CSR commitment through the Julius Berger Nigeria Scholarship Scheme, now entering its 2025 cycle. The program aims to empower academically promising female undergraduates in engineering and related fields at public universities across Nigeria. It reflects the company’s dedication to capacity-building and gender-inclusive education in Nigeria’s STEM sectors.

Who Is Eligible?

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen and female.
  • Be enrolled full‑time in a federal or state‑owned university accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
  • Be in the 2nd year of a qualified engineering-related program.
  • Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 (on a 5.0 scale).
  • Not be a child or ward of Julius Berger employees.

Eligible fields include (but are not limited to): civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, structural engineering; quantity surveying; architectural/construction engineering; land surveying; metallurgy/material engineering; cartography; project management; and building technology.

Scholarship Benefits

Recipients receive tuition and educational funding to support their undergraduate degree in engineering—which typically spans the duration of their 4- or 5‑year program—provided they maintain strong academic and ethical performance.

The scholarship is renewable per session until graduation, contingent on continued eligibility.

Applicants must prepare the following scanned documents:

  • Passport‑style photo (white background, JPEG format, ≤ 200 KB)
  • JAMB admission letter or university admission letter
  • UTME results and O‑Level results (and A‑Level/OND/NCE, if applicable)
  • 100‑level academic transcript or result slip
  • Personal and educational details, including a valid email and phone number
  • National ID/ NIN, when available (must be updated in the profile later)
How to Apply

  2. Complete the online application form with educational and personal background details.
  3. Upload all required documents as specified.
  4. Download your profile, have your Head of Department sign it, and re-upload it for verification.
