The Matrix Energy Scholarship 2025, organized by the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF)—a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Matrix Energy Group—is a fully funded postgraduate scholarship opportunity open to Nigerian students pursuing advanced degrees in Materials Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

Eligible Programs
The AAF scholarship supports two paths:
- Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering (2 years)
- Doctoral (PhD) Degree in Materials Engineering (3 years)
Both programs are hosted by OAU.
Eligibility Criteria
- For Master’s applicants:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1).
- For PhD applicants:
- Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or closely related field.
- Research-based Master’s program with at least 60% weighted average in coursework.
