Borno State University (BOSU) Admission List 2025/2026

The Borno State University (BOSU) in Maiduguri has published its admission list for the 2025/2026 school year. This list includes candidates who applied through UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) and Direct Entry.

How to Check if You are on the BOSU Admission List

Via JAMB E-Facility / CAPS

Log in to your JAMB profile on the JAMB e-facility portal.
Use your username and password to get to your dashboard.
Click on “Check Admission Status” or “Access My CAPS.”
If you see “CONGRATULATIONS…”, you got in! If it says “Admission in Progress,” check back later. If it says “Not Admitted,” you may still be considered later.

Via the University Portal / BOSU Notice Board

The university will post the names of those admitted on their website in PDF or notice format.
You can also check the notice boards at the University’s admission office.

Next Steps if You are Admitted

Accept your admission in JAMB CAPS.
Print your JAMB Admission Letter.
Prepare your result slips (O-Level, JAMB, and Direct Entry if needed).
Follow the physical verification/screening steps set by the University.

Important Information & Deadlines

Provisional Admission: This admission is provisional, meaning you need to meet all admission requirements published in the JAMB brochure and BOSU’s rules. Not meeting these can lead to losing your admission.
Document Verification: You must provide original certificates and transcripts, valid proof of age (like birth certificate), and any other required documents for your program.
Change of Course: If you’ve been admitted to a different course than what you applied for, BOSU allows course changes under certain conditions through JAMB CAPS.
