University of Calabar (UNICAL) Admission List 2025/2026 Released

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 school year. If you applied through UTME, Post-UTME, or Direct Entry, you can check if you’ve been offered a spot in your chosen program.

Understanding the Admission List

If you see your name on the list, it means you’ve got provisional admission to UNICAL for the 2025/2026 session. This is pending the completion of all admission requirements, like screening and fee payments.

Admission rolls out in batches. Different departments may release their lists at varying times.

Where to Find the List

Right now, you can check your admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the JAMB EFacility portal.
  2. Log in with your JAMB username and password.
  3. Look for and click on “Check Admission Status.”
  4. Select “Access my CAPS.”
  5. Click on “Admission Status” to see if you’re admitted to UNICAL.

If your name is on the list, congratulations and make sure to follow the next steps below.

If it still says “Not Admitted” or “Admission Still in Progress,” keep checking back, as more names will be added later.

What to Do If You Are Admitted

If you find your name on the admission list:

  1. Accept the offer on JAMB CAPS. You need to do this within the time frame given, or you might lose the offer.
  2. Pay the acceptance fee required by UNICAL to confirm your admission.
  3. Print your admission slip from the university portal after you confirm your admission.
  4. Get ready for screening, which may include online or in-person verification and document checks.
What If You Haven’t Been Admitted Yet

If your name isn’t listed:

  1. Check if you met the cut-off mark for your course and submitted all required documents.
  2. Make sure you listed UNICAL as your preferred school in your JAMB application.
  3. Keep checking both JAMB CAPS and the UNICAL portal, as later batches might include more students.
  4. Ensure your results (like WAEC or NECO) are uploaded or sent in if required.

Important Notes & Deadlines

  • Just a heads up, the Admission Checker PIN has a fee, so be sure to use the official UNICAL website to stay safe.
  • Always use your official JAMB Registration Number when checking your admission status, not any other ID.
  • Watch out for fake posts on social media that say they can help with admission but ask for money. Check only official sources like the UNICAL website or JAMB for info.
  • Deadlines for accepting offers and screening are usually strict, so make sure to act quickly to keep your admission.
