The WAAW Scholarship Program offers a one-time payment of $500 to help young African women studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) at the undergraduate level. Only courses related to STEM will be accepted for the scholarship.
WAAW wants scholars who need support and who are eager to make a positive impact in their communities.

Eligibility
To apply for the 2025 WAAW Scholarship, you must be:
- A female student of African origin, living and studying in Africa
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
- Studying a STEM course in a university or college in Africa
- A first or second-year student, or a third-year student in a 5-year course
- Able to show financial need
- Have good grades
- Demonstrated leadership or involvement in community service
- Under 32 years old
Required Documents
Interested candidates must submit the following documents online:
- 2 reference letters from your referees
- 1 signed and sealed copy of your current transcript from your university
- 1 scanned copy of your school ID card
