The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Faculty of Education, School of Sandwich Programs, has announced that admission forms are now on sale for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions. The forms are for Post-NCE and Post-SSC Sandwich Degree Programs.

- Educational Foundations/Arts
- Educational Management/Social Studies/Business Education
- Educational Curriculum, Science Education & Educational Technology
- Educational Psychology, Guidance & Counselling
- Sport & Exercise Science/Health Promotion, Environmental & Safety Education
- Adult & Non Formal Education
- Library Science and Information Technology
- Early Childhood and Primary Education
Admission Requirements
O’ Level:
- Applicants must have at least five (5) O’level credits (SSCE, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE). These must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects related to the teaching area they want to choose.
University Certificate Holders:
- Candidates with a credit pass from the UNIPORT Certificate Program or any recognized university can apply.
HND / Degree Holders:
- Applicants with an HND or a degree outside Education will spend two years in the program, as long as they take and pass all required education courses, GES courses, and the teaching practice exercises for year 1 and 2.
OND Holders:
- Applicants with an OND will spend three years in the program, also taking and passing all compulsory education courses, GES courses, and teaching practice exercises for year 1 and 2.
NCE Holders:
- Candidates with a Merit Pass in NCE will be admitted into the Post-NCE program.
Note: Post-SSC graduates are eligible for NYSC.
