The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), through its Directorate of Open, Distance and E-Learning (ODEL), has officially announced the commencement of the First Continuous Assessment (CA1) for all courses offered under the directorate. This announcement was contained in an internal memorandum issued by the Head of Administration, ODEL, Mr. Andrew T. Hinga. According to the memo, the CA1 exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 26 January 2026, to Saturday, 31 January 2026.
The assessment will be conducted exclusively through the university’s online examination platform, in line with ODEL’s digital learning and evaluation framework. In the memo, all relevant authorities were directed to make adequate arrangements to ensure a smooth and hitch-free assessment process. Course lecturers were specifically urged to be properly informed and to put all necessary measures in place ahead of the commencement of the exercise.
The notice was formally circulated to the Deans of various faculties within the university. These include the Faculties of Agriculture, Clinical Sciences, Education, Environmental Design, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, Computing, Basic Clinical Sciences, and Medical Sciences, among others, to ensure wide dissemination and effective coordination across the institution.
