The College of Nursing Sciences at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria, is reminding all applicants for the 2025/2026 academic session to quickly upload their SSCE results on the JAMB portal. This reminder became important after the school noticed that many applicants have not completed this step, even though it is a major requirement for admission.
According to the Information and Public Relations Officer, Haruna Ibrahim, the SSCE result upload is one of the things JAMB uses to confirm if a candidate is truly qualified for the programme they applied for. Without this upload, the school cannot properly process or approve a candidate’s admission, even if the person passed the entrance stages.
The college explained that not uploading the result on time can slow down the entire admission process. In some cases, it may even stop a candidate from being offered admission at all because JAMB will not have the complete information needed to clear the student.
Applicants are strongly advised not to wait any longer. They should visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office to upload their results as soon as possible. Doing this early will help avoid unnecessary delays, reduce stress, and ensure that their admission is not affected.
The institution also encouraged candidates to double-check their JAMB profiles after uploading the results to make sure everything appears correctly. This simple step can save them from future problems during screening, verification, or when admission lists are released.
In summary, ABUTH is urging all applicants to take this requirement seriously. Uploading the SSCE result is a small step, but it plays a big role in completing the admission process smoothly.
