The management of the Institute of Foundation and Entrepreneurship Studies (IFES), Benue State University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (BSUAST), Ihugh, has released an official notice addressed to all Pre-Degree and Remedial students.
The directive, issued by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, takes immediate effect and applies to both newly admitted and returning students in the affected programs.
Details of the notice
1. 2026 JAMB registration and examination
All Pre-Degree and Remedial students are required to register for and sit for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination (JAMB).
According to the university, the JAMB registration timeline is as follows:
- Registration opens on 26 January 2026
- Registration closes on 28 February 2026
Students are advised to complete their registration early, as late action may result in missing the deadline.
2. O’Level result deficiencies
Students who have deficiencies in their O’Level results must register for and write the 2026 WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB examinations to correct any failed or missing subjects.
In effect, any student with incomplete or unsatisfactory O’Level results is expected to sit for the appropriate 2026 examination and address the deficiency.
The university management emphasized that the notice is issued for the information of all concerned students and requires immediate compliance. No additional conditions were stated; students are expected to act strictly in line with the directives provided.
