Federal Polytechnic Offa (FPO) has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its National Diploma (ND) Part-Time programs for the 2025/2026 academic session. About the ND Part-Time Program

The ND Part-Time program is structured to offer the same curriculum as the full-time program but with a more flexible schedule tailored for those who cannot attend regular weekday classes. The program runs primarily in the evenings and on weekends, ensuring minimal disruption to work and personal commitments.

This program spans three academic sessions (six semesters) for ND, making it ideal for those who wish to gain technical qualifications while working.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the ND Part-Time programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. O’Level Qualification:
    • Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
    • Acceptable qualifications include SSCE (WAEC/NECO), NABTEB, or GCE O’Level, obtained at not more than two sittings.
  2. Age and Employment Consideration:
    • There is no strict age restriction, but applicants are typically employed or involved in entrepreneurial ventures.
  3. JAMB Not Required:
    • UTME is not required for ND Part-Time admission. However, applicants must register on the JAMB Part-Time portal after securing admission.

Program Duration and Structure

  • The ND Part-Time program runs for three (3) years (6 semesters).
  • Classes are typically held in the evenings and weekends, depending on the department.
  • Its curriculum is the same as the ND Full-Time program and leads to the award of a National Diploma, which qualifies graduates for HND or Direct Entry into universities.

How to Apply

Interested applicants are to follow these steps to apply for the ND Part-Time programme:

  1. Visit any JAMB office and apply under ‘Application for Admission into Part-Time Programmes’ at Federal Polytechnic Offa
  2. Pay ₦3,500 to JAMB to get your JAMB Registration Number
  3. Head to Offa Poly’s application portal
  4. Make a payment of ₦15,000 processing fee online using an ATM card (Interswitch supported)
  5. Complete the application form and upload your O’Level results, certificates, and other required documents
  6. Use an active personal email and make sure your name matches your documents and NIN

Application Deadline

The portal is currently open, and the application deadline is eight (8) weeks from the date of publication. Candidates are strongly advised to apply early, as late applications may not be considered.

Screening and Document Submission

After applying:

  • Upload your credentials on the Polytechnic’s portal
  • Fill and print the security form and screening slip
  • Submit both forms in person at the Security Office on campus

Important Notes

  • Admission is strictly merit-based. Ensure that all details provided are accurate and verifiable.
  • After securing admission, students are expected to complete registration on the JAMB Part-Time portal for documentation purposes.
  • Wrong or false details at any point will lead to automatic disqualification. Also, your details must appear on JAMB CAPS or your admission won’t be processed.
