Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Announces Schedule for 33rd Convocation Ceremony 2025/2026

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially announced the schedule for its 33rd Convocation Ceremony. The ceremony will be marked by a series of activities spread over one week, beginning on Friday, 23 January 2026, and running through Saturday, 31 January 2026.

Overview of the Convocation Program

The convocation programme features a mix of religious observances, official engagements, and academic events. Activities lined up include worship services, a press conference, commissioning of completed projects, the convocation lecture, and the main convocation ceremony where degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and prizes will be awarded. All events are scheduled to take place within the period of 23 to 31 January 2026.

Friday, 30 January 2026 – Commissioning of Projects

  • Event: Commissioning of Projects
  • Venue: Various project sites across the university
  • Time: 10:00 a.m.

Friday, 30 January 2026 – Convocation Lecture

  • Event: Convocation Lecture
  • Venue: Red Chamber
  • Time: 3:00 p.m.

Saturday, 31 January 2026 – Main Convocation Ceremony

  • Event: Convocation Ceremony for the award of First and Higher Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, and the presentation of prizes
  • Venue: Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building
  • Time: 10:00 a.m.

The week-long program is expected to bring together graduating students, staff, alumni, and invited guests to celebrate academic achievements and milestones at FUNAAB.
