Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Extends 2025/2026 School Fees Payment Deadline for New Students

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, has announced an extension of the school fees payment deadline for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The university management made this decision to give fresh students more time to complete their registration and settle all required payments without pressure.

According to the update, many new students were unable to meet the earlier deadline due to financial challenges, late admission updates, or delays in the registration process. To ensure that no admitted student misses out because of these issues, the school has shifted the payment deadline to  Monday, December 15, 2025., allowing students to finalize their fees before the portal closes.

What the Extension Means for New Students

With this extension, newly admitted students now have extra time to:

  • Pay their school fees for the 2025/2026 session
  • Complete other necessary payments as required by the university
  • Continue their screening and registration process without the risk of disqualification
  • Access the online registration portal without rushing

The university also advised all new students to take the extension seriously, as the portal may not be reopened once the new deadline expires.

Important Reminder

OOU has urged students to avoid last-minute payments to prevent network issues, portal congestion, or bank delays. Freshers are also encouraged to keep their payment receipts and print all registration documents once their fees have been confirmed.

The management appreciates the cooperation of students and parents and assures everyone that the extension was introduced to support a smooth and stress-free registration process for all newly admitted candidates.

New students are encouraged to use this extra time wisely and complete their payments as soon as possible to secure their place in the university.
