Entry Requirements
General Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE O’Level examinations, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Compulsory subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
- For Environmental Health Technology and Paramedics Technology, Health Science may be accepted in place of Biology.
Specific Requirements
- ND Applicants:
- Must have sat for the 2025 JAMB UTME and scored at least 150.
- HND Applicants:
- Must possess an ND with at least a Lower Credit from an NBTE-accredited institution.
- Must have completed one year of relevant work experience.
- Must hold a valid professional license where applicable.
- Biomedical Engineering Technology Applicants:
- A pass in technical subjects such as Woodwork, Auto Mechanics, Basic Electricity, Technical Drawing, or Fine Art is advantageous.
Application Procedure
- Purchase of Application Forms:
- Certificate, Diploma, and HND forms cost ₦12,000.
- ND Post-UTME forms cost ₦2,000.
- Payment Method:
- All payments should be made through the official UBTH Remita portal.
- Form Submission:
- After payment, print out the completed application form.
- Submit the form at the Registrar’s Office of the Institute before the screening date.
